A: Although results do vary on an case by case basis, we will get you in the best shape of your life!! Whether you are looking to lose weight or tone up, our programs will help you reach your goals. Our programs are fully customized to your specific fitness goals. Our strength and toning program, LEAN & FIT, has shown the best results with it’s Nutrition, Cardio Excercise, Resistance Training, Behavior Modifcation, Motivating and Inspirational aspects.
Q: Do you have a class that teaches self defense without the traditional belt system?
A: KICKS Mixed Martial Arts Classes offer all the self defense techniques you would ever need and then some. Techniques from stand up styles including, Boxing, Muay Thai, Kempo and Tae Kwon Do, as well as ground techniques from Judo, Ju-Jitsu, and Wrestling will all be incorporated into your learning.
Q: Do your programs at KICKS aid in improving children/ adults with ADD/ADHD?
A: KICKS programs are the #1 Doctor recommended activity. The hands on learning that our students experience directly reduces the symptoms of ADD/ADHD in children as well as adults. These students in time have improved enough to no longer rely on medication to calm symptoms.
Q: What is the best age to begin martial arts training at KICKS?
A: Students are never to young, nor to old, to receive the life skills learned at KICKS. We customize your learning based on your individual goals for yourself or your child(ren). Our Little Ninja program has prepared children as young as 3 with social skills needed to prepare them for pre-school/ kindergarten. Our Action Club has helped guide teens and adults with leadership and teamwork skills needed to excel in life and the workplace.
Q: Will your program help if my child is having problems keeping their hands to themself?
A: Students attending KICKS get the correct guidance to learn when and where it is okay to use their martial arts. We channel their energy in a positive way to encourage proper behavior everywhere they go. We are a parent partner and encourage communication. If there are other issues at home or at school, we are here to help.
