Frequently Asked Questions…
Q: How will Tae Kwon Do at KICKS improve my child’s Focus?
A: Our programs here at KICKS have shown improvement in focus for children of all ages. This is accomplished by our structured reward system which keeps the students attentive and always striving for their goals.
Q: Do your programs at KICKS aid in improving children/ adults with ADD/ADHD?
A: KICKS programs are the #1 Doctor recommended activity. The hands on learning that our students experience directly reduces the symptoms of ADD/ADHD in children as well as adults. These students in time have improved enough to no longer rely on medication to calm symptoms.
Q: What is the best age to begin martial arts training at KICKS?
A: Students are never to young, nor to old, to receive the life skills learned at KICKS. We customize your learning based on your individual goals for yourself or your child(ren). Our Little Ninja program has prepared children as young as 3 with social skills needed to prepare them for pre-school/ kindergarten. Our Action Club has helped guide teens and adults with leadership and teamwork skills needed to excel in life and the workplace.
Q: Will your program help if my child is having problems keeping their hands to themself?
A: Students attending KICKS get the correct guidance to learn when and where it is okay to use their martial arts. We channel their energy in a positive way to encourage proper behavior everywhere they go. We are a parent partner and encourage communication. If there are other issues at home or at school, we are here to help.
